A fun property a bit away from the crazy hustle and bustle of downtown Bangkok, perfect for a short relaxing staycation in Bangkok.

First - it's one of the few hotels (besides Royal Sheraton opposite this hotel) that has complimentary boat transfers from BTS skytrain station directly to the hotel. So you can take the Airport Raillink+BTS first and then boat shuttle to arrive (or depart).

Being at the riverside on the quiet side of Bangkok, it's also nice to chill by it's poolside, just occasionally hearing the boats and ferries passing by.

While the hotel is not new and some rooms show its age, it is still well maintained. The twin executive room and executive suite were both OK, albeit the room felt a bit smaller than usual by Bangkok average standards.

I felt that Hilton Honors Diamond treatment was a bit stingy, the suite had to be "negotiated". Seems like standard would be just 1-category upgrade, a bit less generous than at other places in Asia.

The executive lounge at top floor was having great views, both inside and at outside terrace. Food and beverage offerings were average, I felt that Hilton Sukhumvit had a notch better options.

Gym was functional and you could also join in group training classes, if wish to.

Breakfast at the main restaurant had ample choices, including freshly made smoothies. You could also opt for seating outside by the river, if wish to (and it's not too hot or sunny).

Overall, solid hotel. Probably more suitable for leisure than business travellers.
