Do NOT purchase daylilies from Windsong Nursery. ...

Do NOT purchase daylilies from Windsong Nursery. They may be a good source if you purchase them on-site, but I was very disappointed in their Internet sales. I purchased 3 Wispy Rays daylilies, which amounted to a little less than $50. I received no confirmation. I received no estimated delivery date. I waited four days before emailing them and asking for delivery information. I was going to be leaving on vacation in 2 weeks, and I wanted to be sure I would receive the daylilies either before I left or after I returned. I received no reply. I waited a week and then called them. I left a message reiterating that I wanted a confirmation and the necessity of sending them before I left or after I returned from vacation. I received no reply. A week later, I received a robo call that all daylilies that had been ordered but not received (must have been several of us waiting for plants/confirmations/information) would be delivered to us by the following Saturday. I received no further information. Saturday came and went--no daylilies. We left on vacation the next day. Four days later, I received an email, not from the nursery but from PayPal saying my plants were being delivered. I contacted Windsong Nursery 3 times, and received no replies. The week I was out of town was the week they delivered the plants. I stopped payment on my credit card when the daylilies didn't arrive before I left, but I dropped the dispute after I nursed the daylilies back to life when we returned. And if all the hassle wasn't bad enough, the fans were TINY.

Cut your stress level, support growers who are responsive to their customers, and buy your daylilies elsewhere. Windsong Nursery needs to get its act together and earn the business they get. Right now, they are no where close to that level. I would give Windsong Nursery - 3 stars if I could.
