Jama-Coaque is a wonderful reserve on the coast of Ecuador, protecting rare Pacific Equatorial Forest. It is managed in a partnership between local Ecuadorian communities and an energetic team of experts in wilderness conservation, field biology, agronomy and sustainable design. They have a cool group of local individuals who act as stewards and park guards at the reserve.

The reserve has some really innovative programs, and I encourage you to visit them and experience some of the most amazing rainforest and cultural encounters you will ever know!
