To the entire staff of az care hospice. I thank you for the excellent, professional and expedient care given to my dear Mom, Nancy.
For many nursing home and group home patients Covid brought a whole new set of problems.
Those with dementia suffered severely by being quarantined in their rooms with no monitoring of their nutritional intake.
I witnessed excuse after excuse to give quality care, falsification of medical records and so much more neglect of our fragile loved ones.
When I finally saw Mom via a zoom video after nearly 3 months of being denied even window visits it was horrifying. Mom was down to 72 pounds.
I reached out to az care hospice who immediately responded and were able to get approved to visit. That evening the intake nurse came to my home and worked tirelessly to get paperwork completed to be able to lay eyes on Mom and witness first hand what was taking place in the nursing home who s care was neglectful at best.
We got Mom transferred to a group home in Fountain Hills thinking it would be better food, more care, etc. Unfortunately their website and owner horribly misrepresented the actual home.
Mom was transferred to my home within a month from the group home and passed away with family 2 days later on October 4th, 2020.
I extend my gratitude and praise to the entire staff of az care hospice who continue to send uplifting and spiritual offerings.
You will always be in my heart!

I highly recommend az hospice care. Having 42 years of nursing experience, I know good care.
Thank you all.
