Didn't like my experience here. Staff was helpful during my visit and I did get the help I needed. But at the end of my visit, the employee I was speaking to said something I found odd, "Everyone goes off of NADA for trade in value" I thought that was weird because my bank was using Kelly Blue Book, and this other dealer doesn't use either of them. But after me pointing that out he just stated, "I've been in the business for 15 years so I know what I'm talking about"
Now that wasn't the part I'm posting this review about.
They gave me the price of $10,800 for trade in on my car, so I decided that was not a good enough amount to justify doing that, so I of course declined. And then the aforementioned stuff happened, then they almost were belittling to how they basically said, "Go to our competitor across the street, they'll definitely give you a different answer."
Those words by themselves might be seen as a cool thing to do, but his tone of voice suggested that he was questioning my intelligence and treating me like a child that knows nothing. Unfortunately for him I don't take things lying down and I do extensive research.
Unless things are remedied in some way, I will never set foot in a Nissan dealer for the rest of my life, and everyone I know will hear about this encounter.
I do feel it to be unfortunate that one person's attitude would change my mind so much about an entire company, but it is what it is.
I don't wish for that person to be fired or anything severe, but I do believe he needs to change his approach to customers, even if they end up deciding not to buy from him. Because where I work, that doesn't fly, no matter how nosy the customer. After all, they are still a customer in the end.
