Matthew Queery of Freedom Home Services flooded my home during a home inspection on Monday 7/23/2018. He has taken every measure possible to remove my review.

He was attempting to test the emergency overflow of my bathtub and left the water continuously running which caused a leak and went through the downstairs ceiling. None of this is required through the NCDOI or NACHI standard operating practices. The inspector did not notify anyone of the leak. My agent walked into my home and there was water everywhere. His response was "there is a leak" and "this happens all the time"

The inspector has taken no fault for his actions and will not give us his insurance to file a claim. Now I am stuck with the damage from the inspectors irresponsibility of leaving the water running.

He has used intimidation and scare tactics saying that it was no fault of his that he just found an issue.

Please make sure to never leave a home inspector unattended in your home or you could end up in a situation like mine. I am having to seek legal counsel just to get his license number and insurance information. We have also had to file claims with the BBB.

In response to your claims below!!!! Again to highlight how he uses intimidation and scare tactics. This happens way to often with people in this position. We did have a LICENSED PLUMBER!!! I can provide the paperwork to prove this. You offered to have a contractor you know and all we asked for was a remediation expert. Also Matthew we have had to seek legal counsel ... who says the exact opposite of what you claim below. You made damages to house and refuse to take responsibility.
