We ve been coming here for many years so this place is dear to our hearts, but the service and quality has gone way down since they were acquired by auberge.

The food: don t be fooled. They do NOT have a Michelin Star. They used to have amazing food but since their chef left the food has gotten much worse. The fact that they serve cheap sushi is embarrassing and if you eat here you ll understand why they lost that star. They should probably take the Michelin Star off of their website (hint hint)

Service: since they were acquired they have become much more corporate and less focused on the well being of the guests. We were shuffled around rooms and tucked in the worst rooms on the premises despite making reservations over 6 month ahead of time. We also did not receive the room types that we booked and were told that we had agreed to a different room type. They had a wedding on the property which required room, and bumped us for the other guests. We got upgraded to the outskirts of the property into smaller rooms and could not be moved .

The rooms: the rooms are quite nice but don t fall for the upgrades . They are just the rooms at the very edge of the property where they stick a fireplace in to make you feel better.

The pools and amenities are nice, but price has gone up over the years and they need to tighten up.
