This is a Grand Dame of Chicago history. Shame on the Hilton for not keeping the property up to its luster. Brass needs cleaning, the place needs painting and carpets need replacing.

The place is dead. The bar is empty and the Cape Cod room closed in 2016. Very sad to see the luster gone.

Yet, the building and location are amazing.
