A structure that has improved compared to many years ago and the impression one gets from visiting it is that there is a lot of care for the animals (on a very hot day they gave him iced fruit, there were fans for the penguins, ...). There is a lot of green, so much so that it does not seem to be in Rome and it is pleasant to walk in the alleys, with the peacocks that run free, even with their chicks. The area is large and doing things slowly takes a few hours to visit it well. The catering part is a bit scarce, but if you bring your own food you will also find tables and chairs to stop off, with some seagulls a bit pushy around. I found the bathrooms clean and there are various drinking fountains scattered around. Some area would need some maintenance, although I imagine the operating costs of this facility are high. It is not possible to enter with dogs (excluding guide dogs), scooters and bicycles (possible only if carried out by hand, if I'm not mistaken). Ultimately I would say to visit at least once.
