I've had the honor of watching Jennifer work a number of times in a number of different settings over the years. I knew she wasn't just pointing a camera and snapping at random. She's trained as a photojournalist, and she captures thousand-word stories as well as beautiful artistry in the bodies she photographs. I knew this, and therefore I thought I was prepared for what it would be like to have her photograph my own family, but I was still blown away. She took three kids, including an extremely headstrong and stranger-distrusting toddler, and had them displaying the very best of their affections for each other in a matter of minutes. She captured their spirits so very well. It was really hard to pick which prints to frame, but these are pictures I'll be thrilled to have on my wall for decades.
