The location of the hostel was really nice, as the Main was directly opposite.
But that was almost the only positive thing! There were often strong mood swings among the staff, but by and large not particularly nice.
I can't say much positively about the food either. Sometimes it was really inedible. At breakfast there was a buffet (which was still okay) but lunch or dinner was simply inedible. Apart from the fact that there was almost the same thing every day, the lunch and dinner were warm and there was no real choice.
The rooms were standard and partly dusty, but at least nothing was broken. However, you had to wait for what felt like 3 hours for warm water.
With our room we were also "lucky" that there were still private apartments right next to the hostel. These are built directly on the hostel and you can look at each other directly into the room, so to speak. Then there was the fact that we had a neighbor who came out, yelled at us and threatened to call the police after we just laughed or said hello to her in a friendly way. There was really nothing abnormal about it & it wasn't loud either.
So I can't really recommend the hostel.
