This was my first visit to Bacon Brothers. I had been wanting to try it out for a while and it was Resturant Week that finally got me there. The food was great! I had Beer Braised Beef Shortribs and it was delicious. For desert I had the Pomegranate Bread Pudding which was to Die for! I loved it so much I got one To Go! The waiter was very nice and did a fairly good job. However, a few things were overlooked. Mainly utensils. I had a bread knife and made do with it cutting through the Spareribs. Our neighboring table had the same dish and the same waiter. However, a different wait staff took it upon himself (they did not ask) and brought them steak knives. The person sitting on the other side of us had his entree dishes removed and then his desert was brought out. He sat waiting to get our shared waiters attention to get a spoon while his ice cream melted. My dinner companion ordered coffee to go with her desert. She was finished with her desert before the coffee came and she was not given a spoon to stir in her cream. She just ended up drinking without it being stirred. Full disclosure. The waiter offered no charge for the coffee due to receiving it after she was finished with desert. Even with these utensil snafus the experience was pleasant and I am sure I will return. However,this is something the wait staff can improve on.
