If i could give it 0 starts I would. Very sneaky and deceitful. I'm not sure who to direct this too, but wanted to get it out there so other people won't be scammed by this foolish company. A man showed up at our door yesterday saying that he worked for AMP Guardian Security System and our house had been chosen in their advertising lot of the neighborhood. He explained that us and two other houses were going to take part in the free promotion, all we had to do was let them put up their sign in our yard showing that we use their system. He said this helps them sell their security system to other customers when they can show them that other people in the neighborhood have that system. He informed us that everything would be FREE and not cost us anything, we would just need to tell people that we pay $70 a month if anyone does ask because he said that other customers would be upset if we got ours for free but they had to pay. He went over what they were going to do to the house and how to use the system for about two hours. He then took out forms to sign showing the installation and system equipment would be free and not cost us anything. He then took out another form showing a monthly cost of $70 marked out and $56.99 wrote in. I stopped him there and asked what this monthly amount was for when he said everything was FREE. He said that he told us about that, my wife and I both were very upset with the con and asked him to leave because he never once mentioned anything about a monthly payment. I just wanted to pass this information along, so it might help others before they get scammed. It would be easy to prey on older people, so I wanted to get the message out.
