If you're seeking a gym membership only and will hardly ever utilize other parts of the facility, RecPlex is overpriced for your needs. The strength equipment is crammed into one section. While they did upgrade the strength section, the space doesn't allow for multiple machines, so be prepared to wait.

Also, earlier this year, my husband was racially profiled because he was sitting in his car taking a call. Apparently their office staff believes that's "suspicious activity" and called the police on him. Then fabricated a story to the cops saying he had on a "hoodie" and was in his car for an hour. Both were false claims. The cop was really nice and helped us sort the story out. When we confronted the staff about their false accusations they then called the police again. Which actually worked in our favor because it was the same cop who came the first time. The manager never apologized for lying. We paid too much money to be harassed. At that point, I was ready to cancel my membership.

The final straw happened as I was cancelling my membership. I wasted time & gas cancelling in-person. The girl was very unhelpful. I asked to talk with the membership coordinator. They took down my information and never called back. I was trying to be proactive to avoid being held hostage another year. I DO NOT recommend this facility. The place is nice. The workers are BAD!
