Be aware they require you to put a credit card on ...

Be aware they require you to put a credit card on file and charge you 200 dollars per day until you leave for incentives and or damages. This was never disclosed to us before, during or after booking. This does not include the daily resort fee either. To me this is very deceptive. I've stayed at many hotels/resorts and I know you have to have a card on file, but not to be charge a potential charge. to compromise they said we were required to pay the resort fee upfront. (which I was expecting to pay regardless and at no point in time did I question the resort fee) we are here a total of 7 days and they wanted to put a 1200 hold on my credit card even though we already paid 200 plus a night for this place. I then was told it was the 3rd party's responsibility to make us aware of this. Southwest made us aware of the required resort fee, not this. I also checked the website for any of this information and no where is it disclosed. Not to mention I called in about 3 weeks before our trip to make sure everything was good to go and I even asked is there anything else I should know about? I was told NO see ya when you get here. This just put a dent in our Honeymoon and made me feel as if we were not good enough to stay here. its very pretty clean place to stay but they need to be better at disclosing information like this. Especially for the people who don't rely on credit cards to pay for their trips.
