On 10/30/19 we received a phone call from First American Payment Systems saying on 10/21+10/22 there were many VISA attempts that were declined all coming from the same IP address. Over 600 charges were attempted all were declined. 600! This was the first I was notified about the problem. We ONLY accept credit cards on line, we have NO TERMINAL in our possession so we had no idea these transactions existed. FAPS indicated I had two options, contact my Rep which had been Bill Beatie or close my account. I tried contacting our Rep, however was told he had since left the Company. I then decided to follow through with the second option writing and emailing our letter to close on 10/31. I then got a very abrasive phone call from First American Payment systems saying to close our account we would be expected to pay an Early Termination Fee of $495. The person calling indicating we had missed our anniversary date by a few weeks! Now we were expected to keep our account open for an additional year or pay the fee. WE HAD BEEN WITH FIRST AMERICAN PAYMENT SYSTEMS SINCE 2002. I was furious. I then took my frustration to Facebook of which prompted a call from Rossa Nichols FAPS Relations Specialist on 11/1 at 2pm. She agreed we had been longtime good customers and she would be happy to wave the termination fee and emailed us a letter stating that. The letter indicated
**Your account now reflects a zero ($0.00) balance and is closed in good standing.**
However on 11/3/19 a charge/fee of $339.50 was sent through anyway! I then contacted Rossa Nichols again, she emailed back saying the charges were the regular October EOM (End-of month) fees of $110.67 and a $228.83 charge was an IP Tran for VISA which is the authorization charge for all the Visa attempts being made by the person who was trying to use what had to be stolen numbers. She indicates supposedly those charges were for the end of the month and were not on the account prior to her letter. Only her letter was written on 11/1/19 at 2pm clearly if those charges were valid they would of already appeared on my account. Again her letter clearly states on 11/1/19
**Your account now reflects a zero ($0.00) balance and is closed in good standing.**
Friday January 10th, 2020 we receive a letter from Scott Morrison reading if the balance of NOW a NEW TOTAL of $1064.50 isn t paid by 1/13/20 First American will recommend legal action.

THIS IS CLEARLY A SCAM! DO NOT USE FIRST AMERICAN PAYMENT SYSTEMS. Don t believe me? Go on line and see the 100 s of complaints!
