Review of Campo Verde

I think this place might be one of those "love it ...

I think this place might be one of those "love it or hate it" kind of things. I, personally, hate it. The food itself is pretty awful. I tend to base a lot of my opinion towards a tex-mex joint off of their chips and salsa, and Campo Verde's just doesn't cut it. Their "cheese sauce"... what is that? Gross. Another down-side is that unless you brought your night vision goggles with you, odds are you're going to have a hard time seeing the menu. Or your food. Or your hand in front of your face..... because it is just way too dark. Maybe they're trying to hide the food? Not sure. Only reason I am giving 2 stars is because the decor is fun and festive and definitely kid-friendly! There is even a train that goes around, which of course the kids love.
