Unable to understand why the billing department are trying to backtrack and make up a story of why the self pay price for a 20 minute surgery was underquoted and in the end was way less than the insurance out of pocket price because of additional need of one dose of medications to prevent nausea and vomiting by $1600. Sounds they are making up stories to figure out how to justify the balance bill.
