Municipality in the province of Reggio Emilia with about 6000 inhabitants. It stands on the bank of the Enza river, the Rocca is accessed by passing through a beautiful medieval entrance dominated by a fifteenth-century tower called the Clock Tower. In front of the town hall inside the Borgo there is the monument "the Giant shot down" to commemorate the liberation from Nazifascism. The town enjoys all the necessary services except for the hospital service located in nearby Montecchio.
