This was our favorite stop on our vacation. Our kids (ages 4 and 7) completely loved the experience. We had the guided tour with Ben who did a phenomenal job and patiently answered all questions. After the tour, our kids wanted to participate in the Junior Palentologist Excavation Program. Ben was also the teacher for this. He was great with all the kids and really seemed to love what he was doing. When the program was finished, our (normally very shy) 4 year old daughter insisted on going back one last time to thank Ben because she had such a great experience.
We highly recommend visiting the Mammoth Site. It is very educational and there are great employees there who are incredibly knowledgable and caring.
