My family member was recently treated here in geriatrics. The staff has been extremely compassionate and kind. The social workers and the nurses are very responsive to my frequent calls for status updates. I received very detailed emails and someone picked up the phone every time that I called. I was upset when I read some of the other online reviews about Southcoast Behavioral Health as my relative was transferred here from the ER from another hospital and required immediate psychiatric treatment so we did not have a chance as to where they went. I am so thankful that they went here.
At a time when we can't go to the hospital to see and check on our loved ones, I am grateful for the people that I dealt with here. I gave 4 stars because the some of the staff who answered the phone when I called the main number were rude and uncooperative and that's unacceptable.
