As you might imagine, the delivery does not live up to the hype. The restaurant failed to deliver on the easiest of details (bland mashed potatoes? Really?) as well as the beef it raves about. My new york strip steak au poivre was so tough and chewy I had to take breaks from chewing a single bite. Others in my party also agreed that the texture was egregious.

To it's benefit, the Angus Barn is a site to see during the holidays. The decor truly is out of this world. Save yourself from generic steakhouse disappointment and go for a glass of wine to take in the outrageous and fun decorations.
