Do not do it! I initially came to this school to attend the x-ray tech program. After my first week or so at the school, They notified us that they will not offer that course. Needless to say I was not happy about that. The advisor said that I could get an Associates in Medical Specialties.

Since most of the schooling was being paid for, I decided to stay with the school. Only to find out a year and change later that "Medical Specialties" is a fancy word for Certified Nursing Assistant....More than half of our class did not pass the cert test.

For the most part, most of the teachers I had were decent. Some pushed us more than others. The curriculum was pretty easy and a lot of the test where open book/note. Probably in attempts to keep their numbers up. Some of the labs did not have adequate equipment, supplies, etc..

I can go on and on but I really want to hammer in a couple points. One, California College San Diego is not respected in the medical field. I can't think of anybody who went into the field from my class. One of my old classmates did get into the medical field but via another school. Don't think getting a "degree" here is going to immediately turn your life around.

Two, The credits you accumulate are not transferrable. I can not reiterate how important this is. I was checking out National University and they told me all 100 credits I have are pretty much useless and are not transferrable. Thinking I am a couple years away from my Bachelors, I am no closer than I was in 10th grade. The only way to use those credits is by going back to this janky school.

Lastly, This school is extremely pricy. You pay a premium to go to a school in a strip mall. The laptop is nothing special and is very basic. I owe them a couple grand and they used to hound me everyday! Crazy phone calls. I would tell them that I am not going to pay anymore for a useless degree. They still call. Had to change my number.

The knowledge you get is not retained as most classes are accelerated. They push you to pass by having open book tests and other tactics to keep the weak students in something that they will ultimately fail in. A lot of the teachers could not control the classroom giving it a high school vibe with plenty of distractions and clowns.

I would not recommend this school to my worst enemy. I don't understand how they get away with swindling people with pipe dreams. I graduated in 2014..Maybe things have changed but I seriously doubt it. Look around, Research, Ask people, Do your due diligence. Do not make the same mistake me and hundreds of people have made.
