A musty smell upon entry into the room, bathroom enamel worn off and black rings around the faucet. Just worn out.
Hospitality experience: 0.5 star
When booking online on Wyndham site, one price showed up and then when I went to reserve, the price had jumped by about 12%. Called the actual place and the woman (Aracelli - apparently a manager) said she could not do anything about it. After a while she revealed that she could honor the initial rate quoted. Why not say so at the outset?
Arrived at hotel with Andrew at the front desk. My wife asked where the hot tub was located, and was informed that it was not working. Disappointed, she explained that as one of the reasons we chose the place, Andrew's offered "I can cancel your reservation if you would like." A little bit of thought could have led to a response like "I understand you are disappointed, but this is out of our control. We will try and make sure that your stay is a pleasant one however, if you choose to stay with us."
The 0.5 stars is because the person staffing the place the next morning was pretty decent.
