We have bought two vehicles from SMP in the last 7 years. Had a great experience with their sales team and really appreciated the extra lengths they went to make sure we were satisfied. However, the service department has been some of worst experiences I ve had with a business. Every time I have come in for service the price ended up being higher than quoted. The last time I came in I was told my trailer brake system was faulty and needed to be replaced but it would be under warranty with no cost to myself. I agreed to the repair based on this information. When I showed up to pick up the truck they had charged me for the repair. When I challenged the issue they tried to explain to me that I was in the wrong and somehow misunderstood. I let it go but I have now had enough of the constant phone calls, emails, and text messages I receive from them for service and trade-ins on our vehicles so I have decided to write this review. I have called in at least 4 times now and asked for them to stop calling and messaging me, sometimes 3-4 times a week. That is to the point of harassment! I have noticed a gradual decline in the service provided and unfortunately I don t think I will be buying or obtaining service from them again in the future.
