Our stay was very comfortable, and the hotel seemed modern and clean. The hotel is outside the city center, but if you are comfortable with walking, it's very possible to walk to the main sights like the Duomo or the Uffizi in about 20 minutes. If not there is a bus nearby as well, and a small train. I never used them but the proximity seemed convenient for anyone who might need to.
