In the beginning of the process Maas appeared to be a well committed company, had fast and friendly communication. Soon after rental applications were turned in the tone changed. Hardly any communication unless it was the applicants pestering Maas, house showings had pet urine soaked carpets that were "professionally cleaned", houses were far from rental ready as they were terribly dirty and broken down. Maas had our applications for three weeks, "waiting on rental referances". After contacting all our referances to see what the delay was, they sent fax confirmations over showing Mass had referances submitted. Faxes showed exact replication of the form submitted. After asking Mass once more about this, we were told they hadn't been submitted. Both landlords resubmitted the referances, but zero communication from Maas. I would highly discourage renters from looking into this company, nothing but an unprofessional run-around. Military be wary of this company, some comments made during showings were very unprofessional. Should have reviewed the comments before submitting an application to this company. As a former property manager this is the most disappointing company I've delt with.
