I called to change my insurance from homeowners to landlord and they said no problem. They said they had to cancel my homeowners insurance first before setting up the landlord insurance, so I went through with cancelling the insurance. Then they transferred me to sales which told me they don't offer landlord insurance in Washington State. Now I'm scrambling to get insurance coverage before midnight tonight. I was able to get insurance through Liberty Mutual but I lost $200/year discount because my current insurance through Homesite was ending tonight at midnight. Thanks Homesite for the total mess up and loss of $200!
