I drove my vehicle early morning before 8am to the garage to have my vehicle serviced as scheduled and confirmed orally a few days ago. Upon my drop off, staff told me that the service was not due until early next year, unless I am willing to pay for the service booked. I booked this service based on notification I received from BMW and I also called the center to confirm and I got clear confirmation over the phone. This incident happened twice to me experiencing exactly the same -1) booked the routine service and later confirmed orally and 2) upon arrival, both visits were ended up being waste of my 1.5-2h time and returning home for nothing after putting all the efforts and with hassles of cancelling/adjusting my appointments and meetings to get this service done on time. Service staff - Niki kindly explained the reason - booking staff has limited access to individual vehicle profile and there is a gap in understanding the actual service due/requirements. She instructed me how to check my vehicle service state on the dashboard. Appreciated her kindness and dedicated mindset, however, BMW should remedy this type of problems - improving the accuracy of notification and making the service booking system be more reliable and robust. All the staff and quality of services are great so far except for this particular booking issue.
