In 2006 we went shopping for a new car. We ended up at DCH Academy Honda where we test drove and purchased a new Honda Accord. The entire process went smoothly and we were completely satisfied with our experience. Fast forward 11 years and the Accord was still in the family and performing wonderfully. Sadly, we lost our beloved Accord in an accident last week.

We decided to visit DCH Academy Honda again where we were greeted by Jahlil. We came knowing the vehicle, trim and price we were looking for. We even came pre-approved for a car loan. Jahlil brought the exact model, trim level and color option we were looking for, took us for a test drive, and explained many of the features. We then sat down and negotiated a price that we were comfortable with in about 10 minutes. We came back the next day to finalize the purchase and Veronica in financing was able to beat the APR that we were pre-approved for, making it a no-brainer to finance directly through them. She carefully explained our purchase options and the available extras that might interest us. After declining some and taking advantage of others we signed off on the deal.

Jahlil then proceeded to go over all of the different user controls on the vehicle with us until we were comfortable. He even personally delivered the vehicle to our house at 8:45 PM.

Throughout our purchase we were never pressured by anyone. When we declined add-ons we weren't pushed harder. The DCH team just politely moved on to the next step of the deal.

Eleven years ago we purchased a car that turned out to become part of the family. Having purchased other vehicles from different dealerships we felt that nothing would surpass the buying experience we had that day. Our latest purchase exceeded those expectations. Jahlil, Veronica and the team at DCH Academy Honda professionally made sure that we will stop there first for our next vehicle purchase and that we will send others looking for a great buying experience.
