I wish I can give this place zero stars. Please be warned that this place will not do right by you. You will be very disappointed and will regret ever setting foot in their service department.
I came in with my fully drivable mini cooper (drove from Lake Elsinore to Crevier Mini without any problem) pointing out to the employees that the speedometer was not working and asking for full diagnostics on the car to fix the problem and find out it there was anything else I should know about. After one whole week they finally called me and said they were able to fix the speedometer and that the car was driving a lot better and to go ahead and pick it up.
I went to pick it up and paid over $700 to take my car home with a fixed speedometer. I drove it for 10 miles and the car started smoking and leaking a bunch of fluids and oil. I pulled over and car wouldn't turn on, so I had to call a tow truck. I called the mini copper advisor Anthony and explained what happened, he asked to bring the car back and refused to pay the tow even tho it was their company who gave me back a car that was no longer working.
My boyfriend and I called for 3 days straight and they said they were not doing anything to the car because the advisor Anthony was off work. My boyfriend and I went back to the dealership and spoke with the manager Ceasar. The manager said that his employee Anthony explained to him that the car over heated and leaked coolant because a hose was loose. When we asked about all the oil that was leaking he looked very confused and said he did not know there was any oil leaking and that the car looked clean. After pointing out that his employee was not completely honest with him and showing him the video I took of the car smoking and leaking oil the night I tried to take it back home, he said he was unsure if maybe his employee forgot to connect or close something right and messed something up. They kept the car another day for more diagnostics, the manager said they didn't check everything on the car when I first brought it in (which was very confusing since I had already paid for full diagnostics when I first brought it in). He then he called us back the next day to say they think it was a blown head hasket eaking and they cant help me. To come and tow my car out of their shop.
We asked the manager to please give us the car back the way it was when we first brought it in. Nothing more and nothing less. I even asked to take back whatever part they used to fix the speedometer, and reimburse me all the money I paid them. I pointed out that no one in this world walks into a dealership with a working car, pays them money, and expects to leave with a car that is no longer working and needs to be towed away.
He refused. He said he cant help me in any way.
They refuse to take responsibility for their actions and will not fix the damage they caused to my cooper. The manager knows his employee lied and he is still not willing to fix his mistake.
I AM EXTREMELY DISAPPOINTED AND DISSATISFIED WITH THEIR SERVICE AND I WANT TO WANR EVERONE WHO IS CONSIDERING GOING THERE TO STAY AWAY. DO NOT GO THRU WHAT I AM GOING THRU.
