Carrie Castleman Review of Flying Saucer Pizza Company

My husband and I are venturing for our honeymoon across the East Coast. On the hunt for some quality pizza, we decided to go with the Flying Saucer. Loved the general atmosphere, decent brew selections. Our waitress was 1/10, didn t check on us once while we were eating and all but rolled her eyes while taking our order. The pizza was gluten free, and probably one of the worst gluten free pizzas I have had. Came out lukewarm and was again, delivered in an unpleasant manner. Closer to tip time when we had all but finished eating, our waitress begrudgingly acknowledged us with a bland how is everything? - then the bill. $30.00 for one beer and a 10 pizza. We left hungry due to the portion sizes for the price. We also overheard the couple next to us mention the seemingly steep prices when they received their bill. I have never left a two star review before. I guess, depending on what you re looking for, it could absolutely exceed our experience, but we were in hopes of a full stomach and more than one beer for the price. Plus, a friendly smile never hurts.
For a heartier menu, North House of Pizza was great; I don t believe they offer gluten free pizza, or alcohol, but the food and portions were amazing.
