I purchased a 2017 FIAT 500L in June 2017. The vehicle started making a clunking noise and jerking when coming to a stop. I called the service department and explained the situation. The soonest they could get me in to see a service tech was 2 weeks, even when I questioned them about getting in earlier because it was a transmission problem. When I took the vehicle in for service, they did an oil change and looked at the transmission problem. They tried to tell me there was nothing wrong with the car ... that it had something to do with it being a dual transmission and that the technician had driven it for 9 miles and didn t experience the problem. I questioned that response, so the service mgr and I took the vehicle for a drive and he experienced exactly what I was talking about. When we got back to the shop, Kenneth Morgan (service tech that rode with me) asked me to give him a few minutes to research the problem. After about 10 minutes, he came out and said that it was going to take longer than he thought, so he got me a loaner car off the sales lot (because their rental car affiliates didn t have any available). It took two days to fix the car. Throughout that time, Kenneth kept in contact with me and informed me of what was being done. He was very professional.
