A dear friend of mine was admitted to this place few weeks ago..F 3 medicine..I travelled from Ireland to be with her..appalled at the state of the wards in this area..filthy and uncared for surroundings! Hell hole is putting it mildly..most of the staff were rude with no compassion! My friend was dying and we fought for a week to get her moved into a private ward were she could pass in privacy..it never happened!..The so called Mark..'manager' was completly useless! I told him and so did my distraught brother she was not getting any dignity at all..no one cared..most of the patients in that ward werent being cared for properly either..left asking for help and on two different occassions one had a seizure and one soiled herself as no one came on time ! If I was to tell of all the horrors I witnessed it would take forever..my dear friend suffered a stroke in the small hours of Friday morning..one of her sons who is blind discovered this as he noticed his mothers hand hadnt moved for over two hrs ! All my family are disgusted with this..even as she was gasping her last breath we were all trying to get privacy ! This will be our memories of our special and beautiful lady..Total hell hole..filthy..rude thoughtless staff ..its not fit for a dog never mind humans..not one patient we spoke to had one single good word to say about this dump !
