A Zoo for All Ages: Houston Zoo sits on acreage full of old growth oak trees and other lush vegetation. The animal habitats are mostly featured in clusters with the same origins so the Zoo is mapped out as a walk through countries/continents like Africa, Asia, etc. In addition to the featured animal life, the Houston Zoo is a good place for a walk or resting around the reflection pond that is under a canopy of sprawling oak trees.
