Of course we waited until Male went to our island, but from the beginning there was information for how long. We had to wait a total of 2.5 hours in Male until our plane was full and we could start. When I arrived at the hotel by speedboat, we were warmly welcomed and it is understandable that I have not booked a private island or a tiny resort that there are more than two people at check-in. We filled out our slip of paper and had our welcome drink and were driven to our wonderful beach bungalow 50 meters from the sea. Our luggage arrived shortly afterwards. The bungalows are equipped with WiFi, as well as a kettle, enough coffee and tea. Our first impression was amazing and comforting. The whole time there was also no crowds and we could finally switch off. We had only booked breakfast and after talking about flies and disgusting sausage, vomiting and lukewarm food, we were already worried on the way.
Seriously, if you get the idea that sausage and cheese are always fresh at breakfast time between seven and ten o'clock, in a country where the average temperature is 29 degrees, you unfortunately don't have them all with you.
Yes, we didn't like cheese and sausage either, but we had fruit, vegetables, pan cakes, muesli, bread, eggs in every shape, coffee, juice, milk, pastries and and and. We got full every day and went to the beach happily. Here we come to the last point of criticism. Long ways. Yes, you walk a few meters, but it shouldn't be difficult for anyone and here, too, think about what you book. If you fall for dinner and roll to the beach, book a small island next time.
