Clean, nice room, outdated facility. The largest, frustrating problem was the paper thin walls. We could hear every conversation, sneeze, cough from the neighboring room. It was absolutely horrible, ruining our sleeping, and romantic Valentine s weekend away. Our room had an adjoining door that may have contributed to the noise sharing. Noise was also fairly loud from the entry door and window, being older. We heard everyone walking by, more-so than in other hotel stays that we ve had. We have stayed in hotels around the world, we ve never experienced such noise from hotel neighbors. And, it should be noted that the people weren t being particularly rambunctious our rowdy. Knowing we didn t want another uncomfortable night, we shared our thoughts with the front desk, requesting a change of rooms. The staff couldn t accommodate our request, due to it being a sold out weekend. They offered a $50 credit. We are extremely surprised that a hotel of this caliber and reputation would have such poor noise control and circumstances. We certainly can t be the first patrons that have brought this to the staff s attention.
