way over priced.. if you can get a good last minute rate then it might be OK, but otherwise expect a big let down.

most of the staff are nice, at check in the woman was "nice" while she tried to convince me I should be impressed with the "upgrade" they were kind enough to offer w/o request which was really funny because it wasn't an upgrade! it was the same room I paid for with 2 beds! I had a choice when I booked and didn't want to beds.. but someone decided I didn't know what I was missing and forced me to take this wonderful room since they gave mine away by 3:30!

add to that the overall run down look, huge burns in the carpet, peeling paint as well as the concierge sending me on a wild goose hunt in 28 degree weather for a "rite aid that is only 3 blocs away" but couldn't be found with the 40 minutes I circled until I froze and gave up. the final straw was the mandatory 18 percent gratuity plus the 4$ charge I was forced to pay for cold food and an attitude. so hopefully you'll understand why that second star is my holiday gift for the few nice employees I've encountered in my first night here.

stay elsewhere if you can.
