If you are a parent looking for a fantastic place for your child look no further,diregard all of the bad reviews, because im about to tell you how fantstic the MRA/LRA program is. I can tell you now that i know about half of the students that have posted these bad reivews and say that in the begining it was rough but even though they didnt like it and dont't want to admit it they are way better people now. but now here is my storie and view on this program:
My name is Hannah dafferner and I got to LRA/MRA in march of 2013, and it changed me, when I got there I was a broken 15 year old girl, and didn't understand anything going on.I was NOT happy to be there but I needed it, they sat there and talked me down from my screaming, they where patient when i refused to do somthing and there was no real punishment, yes we got consequences and they helped us, I never once saw any of the staff there lay a hand on any of the students, they talked to us, and they never yelled, yeah every so often when there are a bunch of teenage girls in a room they had to raise there voices, but never hurt us they treated us with love and respect.I was there for at least 200 students, i was there for 2 and a half years, and in that time I learned coping skills, they got my meds stabilized and got me back to where I needed to be. I went through all of high school there and the little profile picture is of me and my dad on the day that I got to graduate high school a year and two mothes early and this is after my public school before MRA/LRA program, said I would be a super seinor!!!!!! The staff,teachers and theripist are fantastic, I came from california, but decided to come attend USU to be close to my theripist and the staff I had made friends with.I highly suggest you send your child to this boarding school, you won't regret it and they will end up thanking you like i now thank my parents. THE LRA/MRA PROGRAM SAVED MY LIFE AND IT CAN SAVE YOUR CHILDS LIFE TOO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
