Budget 4 hours - 1 day for your visit here, not including queue time which can get long. The Mona Lisa has it's own queue which could take 5-15 minutes depending on when you visit. There is simply an incredible amount of art to see here, and inevitably you'll need to make sacrifices for skipping certain areas or going through them really quickly to ensure you can see the most famous works and decide some time towards learning about some of the art.
