The Valpo Y is doing a great job of walking that knife edge between keeping their members safe and being open to their members. There are spray bottles of disinfectant everywhere, alternating machines and lockers closed to keep physical distance, and masks required at all times in all areas of the club. I walked into the pool area this afternoon to swim laps, leaving my mask in my locker; the lifeguard asked me politely to keep a mask on in there unless actually in the water and it was a pleasure to comply. Grateful to have places like this to go to, little niches of normalcy.
