I recommend finding an alternative provider that's easier to get in touch with.

I've called them from Doctor's offices in the past to clear up policy coverage confusion and had to wait for over half an hour! Not only that, but I just called United Health Care not 10 minutes before making this call, and was able to get in touch with a rep within *minutes* (as in, under 5).

By comparison, I've been on hold with BCBS IL for 42 minutes and change now, and STILL counting.

All I need is for them to send me a copy of the 1095-A so I can file my taxes! If anyone over 18 must file taxes, and the ACA allows us to be on our parents' policies until we're 26, why not send a 1095-A to each legal and covered adult with BCBS IL??? Making necessary forms like this inaccessible to any non-policy-holder who is still covered is just ASKING to have young people on their parents' plans until the age of 26 audited.
