I need to retrofit a power vent on an existing working water heater. I was told by a local building inspector what I needed to purchase to meet code and I purchased the parts, but I wasn't comfortable doing the installation myself. I called Ryan for a bid. They told me that the installation wouldn't meet code and proceeded to try to upsale me a new system.
