Predatory advertisements and tactics only to have ...

Predatory advertisements and tactics only to have your case flipped to another law firm which leaves you having to pay two law firms. The reason why I'm leaving this review now, I just saw there advertisements for the New York law that just went into affect for the sexual abuse victims of the Catholic church. I contacted this firm over the death of my mother in regards to her ovarian cancer and the possibility it was caused by talcum powder. They agreed to help me, next came non-stop calls while I was at doctors appointments, they asked me for her medical records and death certificate, the mail communications I was getting were from the west coast; I gave them the records they wanted, they kept calling me telling me "she had the strain of ovarian cancer related to talcum powder". Next thing you know, the case was transferred to another law firm. With that the City of New York's Human Resources Center kept taking my benefits away. I told the law firm I have the same issues as my mother, and there was a lot of malpractice involved in my case. When I saw how predatory all this was I dropped the case because I no longer had money to be traveling around to deal with oily lawyers. Be aware of this before you answer any of these TV commercials from these lawyers that make vultures look like Tweety Bird, let the buyer beware. This was my experience, yours may be different; the New York Attorney General and Fair Trades Commission should get after these types of commercials and their legalese writing on your TV screen.
Besides, a good lawyer or law firm doesn't have to advertise; do the math, if a lawyer can take up to 33% and your case is kicked over to another lawyer (another 33%), what's left for you if you win the case?
