I have never written any review for any place, product etc however I feel strong about this one. First of my family and I came to Montana on orders for the military and as far as being contacted on the place we wanted kris was helpful. We had three dogs and a cat so finding a place was hard. We were not charged a pet deposit but were charged 50$ per pet equalling out to 200 extra a month which from my understanding didn't go towards anything except her pocket. Reason I say this is because we still paid a deposit. Contacting her was a pain I had emailed and called and the only way she would ever respond was by text message. One of our dogs had to be out down and in order to get another one she had to meet the dog first and approve it and couldn't be under a year old. We had issues with our washer running extremely slow and she had no clue how to fix it and told is it was fine. When moving in she miss read our propane tank resulting in a 400 charge after spending almost 4000 just to move in. Again over the course of the year we never could get a hold of her and she was never in her office. We had to slide the rent money under her door which I was never comfortable with. The one time she was in her office she spoke strongly to me for not having an appointment. When we moved out we have her the 30 notice as required and was never contacted about what was required and again had to slide the keys under the door. As others have said you are required to move out three days prior to the end of the month. The 30 days following the lease termination we never heard anything about our deposit. I emailed her and again no response. I had to send her a letter stating that she had violated montana code and had forfeited the deposit and was required to return it to me within 14 days. One week passed and she texted me saying she had sent it but must not have been received by me. But she said she would send it within the week. Almost a week gone by and I had to text her about it but was still not sent. Finally the following week she sent it to us after being told she would be taken to court. I have rented many places and this was by far the worst. If for any reason you can help not Renting from her please don't you will be much happier.
