YES, YES, YES. Why would anyone give this place less than 5 stars? My husband surprised me with a trip here on our way home from vacation. We got there bright and early - about 10am (they do about 2k-3k people/day in the summertime so it's best to go early). The tour itself is $6/person with a scoop of blue bell ice cream included at the end of the tour (you can add another scoop for $1 more - yes please). They don't allow pictures in the factory which is understandable, as it's a very interesting place. Our tour guide was very knowledgeable and knew everything like the back of his hand. I didn't know that they (sadly) retire 5-6 flavors a year! Definitely a must-see if you're ever driving through the Brenham area. Hell, even if you're not.
