I went to school at St Matthews in the mid to late 80s when it stopped going up to 8th grade only 6th. I remember getting my first communion and confirmation done here also. I really wish St Matthews School was still open. I have many great memories going to school here liked the smaller classes just meant you became friends with all your classmates. I learned a lot going here then in 7th had went Archbishop Brady High school. After all these years this school was the best I went to and have many great memories going here. Glad it reopened but wish is was still St Matthews oh they had the best lunch and sugar frosted cookies for 10cents cinnamon roll 25 cents lol..
