Last Sunday I decided to take my first Ielts exam with British council.
My overall experience is good: I could always get in touch with them via email for support, my exam date was changed as per my request with appropriate support, day before exam I received email with Covid regulations for exam. At the day of exam venue wasn't crowded, there was space between student desks, everyone was fever checked on entrance and wearing masks. Speaking part was held with masks too, distance between examinor and me was 2 meters.
Stuff was very helpful.
The only thing that I didn't enjoy was screen of computer. My eyes got tired of its grayish color on 2nd hour of exam and I couldn't adjust brightness on it anyhow :p Perhaps, this could be improved!
Now fingers crossed waiting for my results ) (btw, hard copy of cerificate is sent by post by team bc of Covid times)
