My older parents wanted to buy some furniture. They ve never had loans etc so the finance agreement was deferred and they provided the relevant ID. 2 days of hearing nothing, my mother rang the company only to be told that she is not allowed to use my dads email address. (She doesn t have a email address herself) and that basically, if she hadn t Of just rang up to enquire about the finance progressing, well, she wouldn t have known what was going off. They had her mobile number so could have notified her via phone of their finance decision. She was then told on the phone that she d have to do it all again online. No thanks. They ll take their custom elsewhere. I don t see why a email address should matter. Not all over 60 s have the internet and email access you know. Pretty poor service really all over a email address...
