I was extremely disappointed with the service center at Crest Cadillac. First, their intake process is very inefficient and results in the customer having to load and unload their vehicle themselves and carry their belongings around the dealership going from counter to counter. Second, I have never been nickeled and dimed more on loaner vehicles than at this dealership. You must request a loan car at a specific date and time date in advance. You are charged for gas (notwithstanding the fact that they give you a loan car with only a half a tank), you are limited on the number of miles you can drive in a day (so few that it barely covered my commute), there is a no smoking or pet policy in the vehicle, and you have to leave a credit card for toll charges and other incidentals . I was also very skeptical of all of the services that were recommended by their service department to the tune of $2000. They charged me $170 to go through my car with a fine toothed comb, recommending fluids be changed all over the vehicle unnecessarily (in some cases that had already been replaced three weeks ago). At the end of the day, I sucked up the $170 and elected to take my car to Sewell. Every time I ve dealt with Sewell s service advisors, I receive a detailed explanation of whether or not service is recommended or necessary, along with a detailed price quote. At Crest, I was given a basic text style email of all the recommended services, but when I asked for a print out of what they found when they did the $170 inspection of my vehicle, there was nothing to show for why all the recommendations were made.

As a further follow up, I was also specifically recommended to change my brakes because they were metal to metal down to 2mm. The second dealership I took my car to confirmed they were 5-6mm!

Even after speaking to two service managers, the best I was offered was a credit on future services. Can t imagine why they think I d ever bring a vehicle back there.

My $2000 Crest bill will only be $500-600 at Sewell.
